The Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto reported losing access to a wallet containing 4,503 BTC. According to current estimates, this amounts to approximately 350 million dollars.

According to the company's management, the problem is related to the former owner of the platform, who, it is claimed, disappeared and did not pass on access to the keys. This made it impossible to manage the funds in this wallet.

In the wake of this, users began to actively withdraw assets from the exchange. According to available information, up to 99% of the Bitcoin reserves were withdrawn, significantly reducing the platform's liquidity.

The situation once again underscores the importance of controlling access to cryptocurrency assets and reliable key management. Losing access to wallets can have serious consequences for both platforms and users.
