Bolivian authorities are considering the possibility of integration USDT into the national payment system. The initiative is aimed at developing digital calculations and expanding the use of modern financial technologies.

If the project is approved, the stablecoin Tether can be used as a tool for making payments and transfers along with traditional financial infrastructure.

The interest of states in stablecoins continues to grow thanks to their stable peg to the US dollar, high transfer speed and low commissions. More and more countries are considering such digital assets as an addition to existing payment mechanisms.

In case of implementation of the initiative, Bolivia will become another country that is taking a step towards the integration of cryptocurrency technologies into the state financial system.
